Troubleshoots system problems. Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment. University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What you will do

This individual will be a member of the Integrated Technologies Team that applies technology and the principles of control theory, thermodynamics and heat transfer to Building Automation systems (BAS). Responsible for complex or custom hardware and software designs as well as commissioning for all low voltage systems on assigned projects. The SE leverages their experience to create high quality and project requirements. The SE uses their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follows our safety procedures, organizes and documents their work, complies with Sarbanes- Oxley (SOX) laws and our standards of ethics, and provides timely and professional responses to customer requests. The SE impacts Segment Income by providing quality designs, minimizing rework, and by identifying change order and value engineering opportunities.

How you will do it

What we look for

BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical Software and/or Controls Engineering.

Background and/or knowledge of HVAC systems.

Demonstrated ability to take a project through design to final deployment.

Must have a strong background in one or more of the following; control system design, feedback control theory, system modeling, thermodynamics/heat transfer, optimization, and numerical methods.

Professional experience with CAD or BIM Modeling products desired.

Familiar with commercial or industrial building control systems desired.

Knowledge of commercial HVAC/Building Automation Systems and/or equipment desired.

Ability to program in C, C++, or C# using Visual Studio.

Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.

Demonstrated ability to stand out, overcome barriers and deliver results.
