Proficient in using different Syncsort DMX transformations like Joins, Lookup, Aggregations, Mainframe Translation and Connectivity, extract and load using HDFS, Change Data Capture, etc
Ability to write MapReduce jobs
Command in SQL building and optimization
Working knowledge of Cloud architecture and components
Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Understanding of schedulers and ability to schedule jobs
Understanding of production and operational support and SLA
Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
Experience in Big data, Hadoop technologies
Hands on experience in Hive, Pig, Presto concepts and their variance with respect to native SQL
Hands on experience in Unix, Linux, Shell Scripting
Familiarity with data loading tools like Flume, Sqoop is additional Plus
Health Insurance Industry experience specifically Group Insurance is a plus
