Responsible to manage 400+ of windows servers, Office365, Symantec End Point Protection , VMware ESXi Servers , AD , DNS , DHCPetc. troubleshooting outages, conduct RCAs, producing permanent resolutions & working with System Architects for deployment automation and product development.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- Operations ownership of projects using Windows HyperV and Windows application stacks (IIS, MS-SQL, Mysql etc)
- Responsible for setup and uptime of large Windows deployments (100s of servers)
- Advanced Active Directory experience a plus
- AD migration related tasks
- DNS,DHCP,ADFS
- Knowledge of Microsoft Forefront Identity Management, Microsoft Exchange, and Office 365 are preferable.
- SolarWinds monitoring tools
- Symantec antivirus server management
- Configure and optimize database servers, web servers
- Incident analysis/RCAs/troubleshooting and identification of permanent resolutions
- Coordinate with customer support teams and resolve customer issues.
- Recommend/implement automated processes for scaling operations
- Centralized management of applications & configuration using Active Directory.
- Plan and execute service/site maintenance schedules.
- Contribute to the operations handbook.
- Pro-actively monitor product/services/site performance, uptime, availability and analyze logs/metrics.
- Participate in the on on-call rotation for fixing service downtime incidents.
- Good to have basic Linux understanding
- Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies.
- Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPO’s.
- Expert knowledge of AD, ADFS, PKI in Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2.
- Expert knowledge of Certificate Authority Servers
- Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows landscape.
- Expert knowledge of WSUS for windows patch management
- Strong knowledge of VMware to include vCenter, vSphere, and ESX 6.x
- Administration of Exchange Online / Office 365 Hybrid Mode
Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016 Messaging Administration in Cluster Environment
- Experienced in Migration from Exchange Server Exchange 2010/2016 .
- Mailbox , public folders migration from On-prem to O365 cloud.
- Analyze Edge Server Performance (SMTP) preparing weekly work status report and If Domain is black listed & taken corrective action White list domain.
- Monitoring & Publish Report through Microsoft Forefront UAG.
- You are an expert/master of some of the below tools/skills
- Windows:
- Good understanding of Hyper/Windows 2012/2016 Operating Systems,
- DNS , DHCP administration
- Schema Migration
- Active directory administration
- Active Directory Concepts & management,
- Sysinternals tools, Analyzing Event logs etc.
- Must have:
- Scripting/Programming: Powershell/Python/Perl(Any one)
- Systems/Hardware: LOM/IPMI/IP KVMs, Dell Hardware.
