Requirements:
BS/BA in Computer Science or related field preferred
5+ years of SQL Server/SSRS.
Required proficiency: Microsoft SQL 2008 +, SQL Reporting Services SSRS
Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services SSIS, Extract Transform Load ETL preferred but not required.
Clear and logical thinking about data and data relationships
Attention to detail and self-testing of code and reports before notifying the user that it is ready for them to test.
Excellent communication skills within report development team is essential to success.
Must not hesitate to seek out assistance with SQL coding or data location if solution is unclear.
 

Responsibilities :
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Interview business users to clarify requirements, explain limitations of data in the system, and arrive at mutually-agreed upon technical solution.
Design new reports considering accuracy, performance, maintainability, and clarity of presentation.
Comfortable with stopping one task to switch to another higher-priority task and work with urgency and precision to complete the hot fix business requirement.
Estimate effort in days/hours to complete tasks and proactively update manager with revisions to original estimate.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment using standard tools to facilitate team coordination, ensure source control and to allow for efficient project management.
Work collaboratively within the team and across other .net development teams to determine the best solutions for the desired outcome.
Work with business owners, development team experts, and database administrators to gain and understanding of the business and application rules for the data being reported on.
Document user specifications and reasons for specific logic within code to enable future maintenance on that report.
Continuously improve professional skills with reporting and database technologies to keep current with industry best practices.
