The Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of physical servers, virtual servers, network environment, and user workstations supporting our internal infrastructure. This position provides all essential IT support for teams in India and provides second tier IT support for our teams in Australia and the U.K. Successful candidates will be passionate about continuously improving IT resources for employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deploy new physical and virtual servers using Linux and Windows
• Install and maintain physical servers, network switches, and SAN storage devices
• Install new software releases and system upgrades
• Perform system backups and recovery
• Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity
• Work with software and hardware vendors to quickly resolve issues
• Maintain knowledge base documentation and inventory

Required Skills:

• At least two years recent systems administration experience
• Experience administering Linux (RHEL or CentOS preferred) and Windows Server 2012 2019
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as XenServer or VMWare
• Experience managing Linux via command line using SSH
• Experience managing Active Directory or LDAP
• Intermediate knowledge of firewall rules, switch configuration, network routing, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP
• Excellent analytical/problem solving skills
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication to all levels of the organization
• Ability to effectively collaborate with peers, cross-functional teams, team leaders and engineering to achieve end-to-end product and process quality
