Job description
Must Have Qualifications
- Overall 10+ years industry experience
- Subject matter expertise in CloudFormation, Azure ARM template and Teraform should have implemented many templates and can write them from scratch
- Subject matter expertise in Chef, Chef Automate, Chef Kitchen, Chef InSpec
- Recent Cloud Certification and automation
- 5+ years of Cloud experience - maintaining and automating AWS or Azure based cloud infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience with Configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Saltstack
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps/CICD life cycle management tools such as Git, Jenkin Maven, SonrQube, Vagrant
- 8+ years of Linux Windows servers administration and application support.
- 5+ years of experience with Python and Ruby and other scripting languages
- 3+ years of experience with Splunk or equivalent monitoring and analytics tools (DataDog, SumLogic, ELK)
Additional Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting Operating Systems and Applications (Centos, RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows)
- Experience in an Agile/DevOps/DevSecOps environment
- Experience with Oracle Databases (11g, 12c)
- Experience developing automation solutions and working in an automated environment
- AWS SysOps Administration, Azure implementation
- Experience in API management
- Scripting/programming experience
- Experience with Git and source control tools
- Experienced in network security, intrusion detection monitoring
- Certificates in cloud and automation
Responsibilities
- Create and document AWS based system solutions
- Build and maintain automated infrastructure solutions
- Create and maintain tools to help automate provisioning and upkeep of Cloud resources
- Expand, maintain establish new best practices for infrastructure management - Key management, access control, security groups, network layout, backup, IAM
- Automated setup, installation documentation of RxLogix products
- Setting up Monitoring and analytics platforms such as ELK, Splunk
- Maintaining CI- CD pipelines
- Automation of repeated installation and system administration tasks
