Job Description: Linux Administrator/ Linux Engineer/Administrator
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills, along with outstanding customer service skills
- Must work well on a team and have a desire to learn new ideas and technologies
- Must be able to participate on rotational Shift and support 24 x7 production environment
- Installation/Configuration of CentOS , RHEL 6.x, 7.x
- Maintaining and Troubleshooting Hardware and OS issues on Linux Servers
- Good working Experience on RAID Levels with Troubleshooting Knowledge
- Working Knowledge on Monitoring Tools like Nagios, Cacti, MRTG
- Working knowledge on SVN Repository configuration and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge on SSL Certificate generation and implementation on webservers
- Troubleshooting performance issues, Should be an expert in troubleshooting for all levels.
- User , Group , Linux Firewall Administration such as IP tables
- Should have exposure to squid proxy
- Support to Application team to resolve issues
- LVM configuration and Management
- Package Installation, configuration, OS Hardening and Patching
- Working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, My-SQL database
- Ability to create Backup and recovery
- Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (Perl, bash, Python etc)
- Should have basic understanding of virtual network on ESXI/Hypervisor.
- Added advantage having knowledge of Load-balancing for applications using Nginx & HA Proxy
