- Python development
- experience consuming/creating REST services , OpenAPI standard
- web development experience
- knowledge of most common AWS services (lambda, dynamo, s3, IAM, API gateway, etc). AWS serverless experience
- strong experience with agile methodologies
- nice to have
- experience with visualization libraries (examples : biopython, matplotlib, ploty, ggplot, seaborn)
- bioinformatics background
- statistics knowledge (probability distributions, conditional probability, likelihood estimators, etc)
- linear algebra (matrices, eigen vectors/values, inverse matrix, etc)
- Django framework
- Responsibilities
- Be the tech lead of the team
- Implement AWS lambda functions to do some calculations and visualizations based on that
- Store/Retrieve information from S3/DynamoDB
- Implement REST services using OpenAPI standard (Swagger)
- Consume REST services from other components
- Create scientific visualizations charts based on the calculations made
- Guide UI developer to create the frontend
- Unit testing
- Integration testing (API level) using tools to be defined (cucumber as example)
