- Knowledge of and ability to design, plan and execute complex system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.
- Develops and executes complex test plans and coordinates system testing effort for compliance with requirements, analyzes test results and reports on findings, risk, and progress regularly.
- Develops and updates QA/Software Testing documentation in an efficient and timely manner according to departmental standards and procedures.
- Reviews and provides feedback on test plans, test cases, automation tests, and test reports/results.
- Manage the execution of test plans, defect review board, requirement change requests, and processes for complex projects.
- May recommend process improvements as it relates to the planning and execution of testing.
- Ensure key stakeholders are aware of any delays, risks, or issues impacting the project schedule.
- Generates quality assurance status reports to management for ensuring smooth IT project operations.
- Implements effective and corrective measures to deal with specific IT quality assurance issues.
