- Experience in leading, designing, architecting, developing project in Azure ecosystem
- In depth knowledge of Azure services such as
- Synapse
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Bricks
- Azure Data Lake Store
- Expertise in capacity planning for Azure solution.
- Expertise in Synapse and Spark SQL performance tuning techniques
- Ability to translate logical Data model into efficient physical data model
- Hands on experience in developing CI/CD model for Azure application with the help of Bit Bucket, Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts
- Excellent customer handling and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation
Desirable
- Ability to write technical specification document based on functional specifications
- Experience in framework-based data pipeline designing using Azure ecosystem.
- Hands on experience in working with Python.
- Experience with any other ETL tool like Talend Power-center, Informatica Cloud, Cognos Data Manager, etc.
- Familiarity in working with data bricks hive tables, polybase tables and partitioned data storage in ADLS.
- Experience in SQL DW DBA activities is preferred
- Life Sciences Domain understanding
- Ideas about Azure ML Libraries.
- Certification on AZURE
- Understanding of application implementation and enhancement estimations process
