Qualifications:

MUST have strong Talend ETL full life-cycle MIGRATION PROJECTS experience, Talend Data Integration end-to-end hands-on systems experience, Talend day-to-day development/ transformations/scheduling, and best pratices in Talend!

þ Must have extensive (7-10 yrs) broad experience in data warehouse, data mart, data models, ETL/ data integration at the Enterprise level

þ Databases a MUST (i.e. Oracle, Teradata, MongoDB, SQL Server, Hadoop, etc.), Transactional and Analytical Data

þ 7 years MINIMUM performing a variety of roles/ responsibilities in DEV, TEST, PROD environments

þ CLOUD Migration (AWS or Talend Cloud), planning, staging, troubleshooting (Nice to Have)

þ Automating deployment, hi-speed code migration, CI/CD & GIT, Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Perl Scripting, Linux Shell, and broad exposures in CI/CD tools)(Nice to Have)

þ Test Automation: Should have knowledge on Data Validation, Data quality and how to automate these processes (not just functional testing)(Nice to Have)

ý Don’t want Hadoop/ Big Data developers (Big Data will be migrated to cloud but not important

ý Don’t want DevOps engineers UNLESS THEY HAVE the required skills in Talend ETL and Cloud migration

ý Don’t want Architects since this is 100% hands-on coding, scripting, configuring

ýDon’t want Talend developers UNLESS THEY HAVE the required skills in Data Warehouse/BI-OLAP 7-10 years!
