Role: Talend ETL Developer
Location: Hartford, CT (Remote till covid)
Duration: 12 months
Responsibility:
- Primary Skills – pySpark, Talend, ETL concepts, Oracle, S3, Snowflake, Hadoop data bases and differnt file systems (JSON, XML)
- Analyze design implement and maintain high volume data warehouse robust and fast ETL applications
- Advanced ETL development using pySpark and Talend Big data platform
- Develop relevant functional and technical documentation Lead design and develop data warehouse solutions using different architecture design and modeling techniques
- Work with business users to translate requirements into system flows data flows data mappings etc and develop solutions to complex business problems
- Understand the business requirements and analyze the requirements by coordinating with business users
- Raise queries wherever the design requirements are not clear enough and work on getting the responses from different stakeholders
- Perform code review and coordinate with different stakeholders from onsite and offshore
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field
- 7+ years of experience in ETL and 3+ years of experience in pySpark and Talend.
- Experience in different data bases like Oracle, Hadoop, S3 and Snowflake
- Experience in different file systems like XML, JASON.
- Knowledge to operate with defect management tools such as JIRA QC, Rally, etc.
- Ability to work in sprints (agile project)
- Should have a thorough understanding of Agile framework
