Job Description:
- The client new Data Quality (DQ) / Data Stewardship (DS) program last fiscal year using Talend’s platforms. RSI’s DQ program utilized the Cloud Data Management platform, which is similar to Informatica to develop the workflows/maps to apply various DQ rules. Additionally, we implemented its DS module, which is used to report, track and follow up on DQ issues.
- They have experienced issues with the DS module and found it to be weak as an information delivery [tracking] platform to allow business stakeholders to follow up and report on data issues.
- Business Intelligence team is seeking a contractor/consultant with experience on the DS platform who might be able to assist best practices and overall optimization of the DS features.
- Knowledge and experience with with Talend ETL suite of tools Knowledge and experience with Talend Data Governance suite of tools (Data Dictionary, Data Quality, Data Preparation, Data Stewardship) Experience implementing a data dictionary against a data warehouse Knowledge and experience working within multiple database environments (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, Dynamo) Experience in multiple technical environments SSRS, MSTR, PowerBI, SQL experience is a preferred as well as working knowledge of AWS Redshift
Must be accustomed to work closely with executive level team to report and give recommendations
