Description: 
Looking for Oracle PL/SQL developer with 6 + years’ experience in a Telecom industry would be preferable with network domain knowledge.
The oracle Database Developer will provide sustainment support on AWS Relational Database Services (RDS).
-Work effectively with the Infrastructure architects and DBA teams to ensure that all approved development and deployment procedures are followed.
-Experience working in controlled development, testing and production environments.


JOB DUTIES:
- Design & perform Oracle/ETL development
- Development on Linux systems & UNIX shell scripting
- Work with other database developers to provide database performance-tuning expertise as needed
- Understanding of authentication and authorization security concepts
- Understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally as part of a team as well as an independently
- Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external teams.


MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 7+ years of Oracle 11g or 12c, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL experience
- 5+ Unix/Linux Shell scripting
- Experience in DevOps & Agile Methodologies
- Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) especially with RDS.
- Extensive experience with data transfers and data sharing using flat files, database links, and web services
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL, Application development experience in an Oracle environment, Data Modeling/Relational Database Design
- Experience in planning space allocation, creating and managing table spaces, partitioning strategies.
- Database optimization experience with Oracle DBMS and experience using database-monitoring tools.
- Good amount Data modeling and data stitching experience would be a plus from various source systems
-SQL tuning by identifying indexing requirements while developing the code
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred to have Postgres DB knowledge.
