Technical/Functional Skills:
- Develop software solutions.
- Implement TM1 best practices and model development standards.
- Technology architecture development for both short term solution delivery and long term technology roadmaps.
- Provide support and ongoing consulting services for existing TM1 applications and new TM1 related applications as they are delivered
- Communicate with clients to ensure all client issues are dealt with in a proactive fashion.
- Directly support planning cycles including year, quarter and month roll overs.
- Implement industry best practices as these relate to TM1 configuration, model building and other technology components.
- Development, socialization and ongoing management of application documentation including logical & physical solution design documentation, S&A documentation, checklists, task lists, project plans and other artifacts as these relate to effective delivery and management of application and support services.
- Participate in the strategy development and technology strategy alignment with business strategy as it relates to FP&A functions across the organization.
• Working with client, understand the business requirements, conduct proof or concepts and
• A minimum of 5 years experience working with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1.
- Good understanding of IBM Analytics / Cognos BI and other business intelligence tools.
- Experience working with budget and forecast planning applications.
- Must possess organizational proficiencies to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision.
- Must be highly motivated, self-starting, and committed to achieving results and have a strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution
- Must have strong problem solving skills
- Familiarity/experience with the following Technologies:
- IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos TM1
- IBM Analytics / Cognos BI
- Oracle
- Microsoft office products
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Code delivery
- Delivery reviews, ensuing defect free deliverables from team following SDLC/Agile process and client standards
- Operational reporting on Metrics and weekly status / progress
- Onsite and Offshore coordination on regular basis for deliverables
- Status reporting
- Performance tuning
The job function will be responsible for functional and technical solution delivery for new TM1 projects in addition to production support activities after go-live. The job function involves working with the business to understand the business problem and solution requirements, transforming the requirements into a planning solution (using IBM Planning Analytics - formerly known as Cognos TM1) and supporting and enhancing the delivered product on an ongoing basis.
The job function requires a combination of skills, including but not limited to an in-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience with TM1, general financial planning experience, exposure to FP&A functions, knowledge of Cognos BI tools, project experience and excellent client relationship and communication skills.
