Job Description: 
Seeking a .Net developer to work on the front and back ends of our cloud-hosted, financial crime detection websites. Initial responsibility would be to work on our Market Abuse product, on both the design of new features as well as maintenance/bugfixes. Our technology stack is highly innovative. We use C# in the front-end, which is transpired to JavaScript at runtime.
Our backend is a mix of classic relational databases, as well as a custom-designed NoSQL data store optimized for write once, read many operations.
We also make heavy use of code generation to automate repetitive tasks. A successful candidate would spend most of their time working on the front-end and server-side components of our websites, but be comfortable enough to delve into the calculation batch to get a full picture of the data flow & logic. The candidate will also be able to coordinate with our client support teams to prioritize fixes, and coordinate releases to client websites.
 
Essential Skills/Competencies:
• Good understanding of the .NET stack, particularly C#

• Ability to work independently
• Experience in financial services a bonus but not essential
• Knowledge of html5/JavaScript/canvas/WebAssembly a bonus
