Role: Mainframe ALS Consultant

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6+ Months

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years ALS batch and online programming experience

• 10+ years of mainframe Development background in design, analysis and coding: COBOL (CICS), JCL, CICS, CA7, File Manager, VSAM, Endevor etc.

• Hands on experience in HATS, SoapUI, DefendPoint, ALM Quality Center, Java

• Prior working experience in Apigee, GITLAB, EALMS, POSTMAN, IDZ/Eclipse, Java 8, zconnect

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items

• Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work within the Core Banking Systems technology team as the ALS / LM as a technical subject matter expert.

• Assists the business unit in defining requirements for services.

• Designs, documents, and recommends mainframe programming solutions.

• Establishes schedules for analysis, programming, and project completion/implementation.

• Programs, tests, debugs, and documents approved solution using mainframe programming.

• Prepares comprehensive test plans to ensure program performance and efficiency.

• Coordinates user functional testing with appropriate individuals.

• Prepares written documentation to guide the deployment of approved solutions throughout the software development cycle.

• Coordinates implementation of the approved solutions with appropriate individuals and reports progress.
