JOB DETAIL

Position: .Net Developer w/ K2  - Citizen or GC

Location: Iselin, NJ or Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC - (Remote until after COVID19-) Local or Relocating candidates

Client: TIAA

Duration: 24mth+

VISA: Citizen, GC Only

NO: OPT, H1

MUST HAVE:

Ø  Must have experience with K2 Five including workflows, SmartForms, and SmartObjects within K2 Designer.  

Ø  Languages: C#, .NET, .NET Core. 

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
• Develop sound technical solutions to meet user requirements
• Develop high level and detailed designs for assigned development initiatives
• Develop and execute quality assurance routines to ensure quality of software
• Ensure that system fixes/enhancements meet intended business needs according to defined requirements
• Assist in the planning, development and deployment of software releases
• Inform manager and user community of progress, issues and concerns
• Resolve business-technology issues that impact production processes and system availability
• Analyze, design and development changes to system batch processes as required
• Take ownership for the resolution of technical issues for assigned third-party vendor applications
• Plan, test, and deploy bug fix, enhancement, and upgrade software releases as required
• Share knowledge of work products, including but not limited to developed code.

BUSINESS ANALYSIS
• At times, identify and recommend best approach to solve business issues
• Participate in Interface Technical Reviews
• Document interface template technical sections
• Strong interaction with end users and business sponsors required
• Periodically monitor support workflow and work with the Application team to prioritize and assign problems and incidents

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• 7+ years of solid experience in Business Application Software design and development
• Investment management industry experience preferred
INTERPERSONAL / COMMUNICATION / LANGUAGE SKILLS:

MATHEMATICAL / ANALYTICAL / REASONING SKILLS:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Must have experience with K2 Five including workflows, SmartForms, and SmartObjects within K2 Designer.  Also, must have experience with Entity Framework and Microsoft web services (WCF).
• Languages: C#, .NET, .NET Core. 
•    Experience with Test Driven Development, Web API, Container
• Database Management: Microsoft SQL Server - Stored Procedures required; SQL Server Reporting Services and SSIS a must, DTS/SQL Server Integration Services a significant plus
•    Experience with Cloud Platform – AWS , Micro services 
• Batch management tools: Autosys, Tivoli Work Scheduler (TWS) or other comparable package a plus

• Scripting: PowerShell, Perl a plus
• Operating systems: Windows            
• Experience with one or more of the following applications/tools a strong plus – Fiserv APL, eDocs Document management software, Tableau, Microsoft suite of reporting and analytical tools
