Position 1: Android Developer
Duration: Long term
Pay Rate: $70 C2C DOE (Only couple of dollars more for good candidate)
Location: Santa Clara CA
Visa: Any visa is fine except OPT/CPT
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and deliver voice enabled infotainment solution by implementing core components for the VIVID SDK.
Be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Android Automotive Operating System including creating technical and architectural framework for Maps, Apps, Voice control and Infotainment system internals
Implement and customize Android automotive features according to OEM requirements and corporate product roadmap.
Follow high quality software development process including unit test, code review, and integration test.
Mentor and collaborate with team members with different geographic regions
Prototype new automotive technologies with Telenav infotainment SDK
Required Experience:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, or related majors and experiences.
10+ years’ experience in software development in Android, specifically Android 10.
Experience on Android Internals, Android Multimedia Framework, and Android Headless Devices.
Experience modifying the standard Android HALs, creating new HALs, and building Android Automotive OS
Experience developing on Qualcomm-Android-Linux-Multimedia Framework
Experience with Android Automotive OS or .Car branches is useful
Good problem solving and debugging skills.
Good communication skills are required (verbal & written).
Position 2: Android Developer Voice
Duration: Long term
Pay Rate: $70 C2C DOE (Only couple of dollars more for good candidate)

Responsibilities:
Design, develop and deliver voice enabled infotainment solution by implementing core voice components for the VIVID SDK.
Be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all Voice related activities including creating technical and architectural framework for all external interfaces.
Implement automotive infotainment features according to OEM requirements and corporate product roadmap.
Follow high quality software development process including unit test, code review, and integration test.
Prototype new automotive technologies with Telenav infotainment SDK
Required Experience:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, or related majors and experiences.
10+ years’ experience in software development in C/C++ and Java.
Experience working with Google, Alexa, Cerence, Soundhound or other voice solutions, preferably in the automotive domain
Experience in development on embedded operating systems (preferably Linux, QNX, OSX, or Windows) and Android.
Experience in prototyping systems/sub-systems with SDK, open source libraries, or reference products.
Good problem solving and debugging skills.
Good communication skills are required (verbal & written).
Desired experience:
Experience working with the different Voice components ASR, NLU, Dialogue
Familiar with agile software development, able to estimate work, perform tasks, and reach deadlines.
Automotive, Navigation, or Infotainment system software experience is a plus.
