Job Title :: Android developer
Location  :: Herndon, Virginia
Duration  :: 12 Months

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering degree
5+ years of experience in software development on Embedded Android AOSP for automotive, embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms
In-depth knowledge of AOSP internals and Android NDK APIs
Experience implementing Android Native Daemon services
Experience in Linux kernel, device tree, Android/Linux device driver and
HAL and VHAL layers as well as Android Framework layers.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
7+ years of experience in software development on Embedded Android in the automotive industry
expert for the entire Android OS stack (HAL, VHAL to Android System Applications and Services)
Proficiency of C/C++/Java/Kotlin language, GNU toolchain, and Unix: Embedded Android,
Experience with service oriented architectures
Experience with communication protocols: CAN, TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, and/or Wi-Fi
Proficiency with revision control including: git, subversion, or equivalent
Working knowledge and experience developing an infotainment feature technology, such as navigation, voice recognition, media phone, or a similar technology
Excellent project management skills, customer focus, as well as written and oral communication skills
Automotive product development process and quality experience (i.e., A-SPICE, FMEA, etc.)
