Senior Android Developer

Location: Remote/Grand Rapids, MI 

Duration: 12 months

MOI: Skype

Visa: GC/USC only

Responsibilities:

- A self-starter and self-directed once the strategy, architecture, and roadmapare aligned.
- Able to find opportunities to add value and execute solutions.
- Maintain awareness of technology trends and issues and apply that knowledgeto app development.
- Take ownership of your work through all phases.


Requirements:

- 5 years of Android development experience with Google Play presence

withexperience in SDK, MVVM, and Kotlin
- Strongexperience in JAVA/Kotlin and in-depth knowledge of Android SDK
- The ideal candidate should have experience implementing MVVM pattern andknowledge of Unidirectional Data Flow (UDF).
- Extensive experience integrating with Rest APIs to consume data.
- Experience implementing RxJava, Retrofit in projects.
- Experience writing unit testing and experience with UI testing usingEspresso, Appium or similar
- Write efficient and maintainable code
- Work productively in a diverse and dynamic/agile environment
- Excellent communication skills
