Position:- Network Admin with Windows

Location: IL

Duration:-Long contract

Job responsibilities: •     Installing and configuring computer networks and systems •           Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems • Consulting with clients to specify system requirements and design solutions •   Providing recommendations and suggestions for performance improvement  •     Patch management of network devices •              Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete •              Working with IT / Service Desk / Helpdesk support personnel •       Providing network administration and support •              Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies •              Creating and maintaining network users/permissions •   Basic experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired •      SLA monitoring •              Setting up and maintaining WAN links; coordinating with WAN link provider for deployment of new WAN links  Education and Experience: •              Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field •           3-5 years’ experience in a network administration role •       Previous experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 preferred •              Previous experience with Cisco switches and routers preferred • MCSE certification   •  CCNP certification
