JOB DETAIL

Job Summary:

Must Have’s

• 7+ years required of prior experience in the role of a business analyst

• Experience Creating business cases and doing vendor evaluations (plus)

• Strong experience with SDLC (Kanban-required)

• Proficiency with any of the following TFS/Jira or DevOps tools

• Advanced experience with SQL (writing SQL queries from scratch/multiple

joins/tables)

• inquisitive (must have this personality) small vs bigger picture

•3-5 years (recent) experience implementing HR systems (HRIS/HCM) - must have done at least 2 implementations.

experience with implementing multiple HR systems (ie: workday/Ultimate/UKG) they are on ADP now- working on RFP to figure out what product they go with

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and software change requests to determine system requirements

• Collaborate with business representatives to develop complete and comprehensive requirements for applications and systems

• Stay abreast of new and future business needs and track and report impact of changes to interdependent systems

• Develop and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrices for each software change requests

• Create programming specifications from the business needs analyses

• Feed suggestions for improving workflows into the business community

• Ability to handle new business domains with confidence

• Lead and mentor other business analysts in the organization

• Provide application support as needed

• Use reporting tools to perform ad hoc data analysis as needed to support business cases

• Work with the QA Lead to develop the testing protocols and documents

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Ability to perform code analysis if needed to understand functionality.

• Ability to understand data flow and perform impact analysis.
