IOS DEVELOPER WITH REACT

• Location: Newton,MA

Disqualifier:  Wants someone with enterprise exp who has built enterprise scalable apps. someone who’s built their own app probably won’t be the right fit
Nice to Have: Previous Paypal Exp in Paypal eco system huge +; positions are relatively Jr 3-5 years but it’s not just heads down coding so communication will be a key aspect. Team player (clear blocks proactively)

App Engineer: front end with React JS exp.
Performance Indicators: will be part of SCRUM team so delivering each sprint as committed; will also do peer and code reviews

All 3 resources will be working on the Business Debit Mastercard (BDMC) portfolio. We need to hire AWF resources for key skillsets that we don't already have on the team. iOS Developer
Summary:
The main function of an iOS developer is to work with engineers to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications utilising iOS software. They will collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
• Stay up to date with new technology trends

Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language i.e. Swift or Objective-C
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform in a team environment

Education/Experience:
• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven work experience as an iOS developer
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store
