SQL DBA (ETL) / Developer
Phoenix, AZ
Contract 

(onsite from January first week)

Roles & responsibilities:  

• Responsible for the design, development, and deployment of data extracts, transformations or loads, supporting the ingestion and transformation of data as needed using SSIS packages 
• Provide database administration support for on premise and Azure database servers 
• Designs and automates data quality and data validation/verification functions as part of the overall solution 
• Ability to troubleshoot and tune database configurations, ETL processes and SQL code for optimal performance
• Performance tuning/troubleshooting of database systems 
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies
• Set and maintain database standards 

Required skills: 

Must have 5+ years of hands on experience in developing and maintaining ETL packages using SQL server integration services (SSIS) 

Must have 5+ years of experience in SQL Database Administration

Desired skills: 

Azure Cloud experience/SQL Server on VM/Managed DBs/Azure SQL
