This is a unique role at Mastercard for the MDES team. It will be working as a member of a 4 person special interest group within MDES responsible for the rewrite of the MDES platformto MDES 2.0. The MDES 2.0 platform will move towards cloud transformation.Cloud knowledge would be a big plus in this role. CI/CD pipeline experience is required for this resource.

This is a Leadresource, but will notinvolve mentoring anyone else. Everyone on the team will be at that level. Lead is in terms of experience. Define strategy,maintain and update it as needed. This person willbe developing test plans and cases, building the automation framework and mostimportantly, making sure this is all done with reusable components. The goal is 98% automation through the CI/CD pipeline. The area has very little usability test scripts (UI front endtesting), mainly API andback end testing, stand along processes. Needs to build components that are onesize fits all.

Would like a resource with JAVA development knowledge (JAVA, J2EE, Spring). Will be startingthis effort on the testing frameworks, but over the 2 year time period, willthen move on to programming libraries. Would take a trueLead automation tester who has created an automated framework from scratch inJAVA. Inaddition, will be involvedin rolling up reports for the executive team and this reporting function willbe automated as well.

Ideally would like to find a resource who has done this type ofautomation project for another company.

Manage and develop systemintegration and functional testing strategies and subsequent supporting testsplans and cases.

Develop, manage and maintain anautomation framework that can support reusable automated test cases and testdata.

Develop, execute and maintainautomated test scripts for Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance andUsability testing.

Develop test automationstrategies and approaches that incorporate multiple phases of testingincluding: unit, system and integration, functional, performance, andregression testing.

Develop supporting test plansthat incorporate automated testing tools.

Create and maintain reusableautomated tests.

Create and implement automatedtesting of web applications across multiple web browsers and platforms.

� What are a couple ofdesired/nice to have skills?

Develop process definition anddocumentation and a working knowledge of release management.

Manage continuous integration(CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes.

Research and collect performancerequirements, along with developing the appropriate performance test workproducts (test strategies, plans, scenarios and scripts)

Specify set-up and prepare testenvironments in advance of testing and manage testing progress reports;including defect management

Develop, manage, and maintainquality metrics like unit test coverage and testing progress.

Remain current with new testingtechnologies.

Develop and implementing astrategy for creating and maintaining reusable test data.
