Project Name: Omni (application name for CRM/pull data from Oracle DB) Transformation
- The app is in place and support all health plans.
- Call center agents use Omni, many customizations have been put in and it makes upgrades very difficult especially the integrations
- This project’s goal is to help with an easier upgrade and easier integration process
- Phase 1 focused on Benefits and Eligibility and this is Phase 2 – scope if complex, it will convert the rest
- DW is Teradata (plus skill) and eventually will migrate to AWS so they will likely switch to Talend.
- MicroStrategy and Talend are required
- Use MicroStrategy to generate reports.
- Have to know SQL- creating views and modifying data that is workable on the Teradata side
- Unix shell scripting to convert files from one format to the other. Expose to this is helpful.
- XML, flat files, Kafka and JSON ideal but haven’t decided what they are using yet- can be any of
- Control M – not required, can learn
- We are Agile, Git, JIRA & Confluence for documentation
- Working with massive amounts of data
- Will work with the Pega vendor for deployment
- AWS Cloud is a plus

- Modify Omni (Call Center Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application) to utilize Pega Out-of-the-Box capabilities, conform to Pega best practices and guardrails, and follow latest Pega UI/UX standards.
- This position will support downstream Reporting needs (data modeling, ETL, reports) Business Intelligence. We want cradle to grave reporting.
High Level Project Scope:
Modify Omni (Call Center Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application) to utilize Pega Out-of-the-Box capabilities, conform to Pega best practices and guardrails, and follow latest Pega UI/UX standards.
This position will support downstream Reporting needs (design/development/testing for data load into Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and reporting based on EDW data).
Responsibilities:
This position is for an ETL and report developer. Main function is to design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Extract, transform, and load data into Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
- Source can be XML, Kafka, JSON, flat files (csv, txt, etc.), Oracle database.
- Target (EDW) is Teradata (on premise and/or cloud). There is possibly that EDW may move to AWS (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
- Create and modify MicroStrategy reports/dashboards/documents/cubes.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of related experience
