Need USC/GC and GC/EAD
 

MUST HAVE Any experience as a Database Administrator with Data stored on IIS web servers https://www.iis.net/ 
 

This position provides for the installation, operation, and management of Microsoft SQL

Server in a high availability Windows Server or Linux operating environment. The

position also installs, configures, and administers related web-based products and

technologies such as Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), Microsoft Message Queue, and various DevOps pipelines.

 

The Server/Database Administrator, should be able to meet the following requirements: 

 

  • Install, patch, clone, and delete database instances and related components using vendor-supplied installers and tools. Submit and manage vendor support requests as needed to ensure robust, operational systems.

  • Install, clone, configure, patch, and administer IIS, message queues, various DevOps pipelines, and related Windows networking technologies.

  • Assist in-house developer personnel with the debugging and tuning of queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

  • Assist end-user personnel with operational issues related to database applications and security.

  • Secure systems as required through the use of public key infrastructure including the request and installation of commercial security certificates.

  • Install, upgrade, and administer  Microsoft Windows Server in scaled environments.This includes the development, execution, and maintenance of shell scripts and playbooks as needed

 

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

 

  • The employee  should have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems

  • (MIS) or a related discipline from a four-year college or university and three to five

  • years of related experience as a database administrator in a production environment.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. A current

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate credential plus two years of related experience

  • in a production environment will meet the experience requirement
