Requirements

•             3+ years of experience working with node

•             Experience using git and npm/yarn in a collaborative environment

•             Experience with modern libraries and tooling

•             Experience working on serverless applications

•             Strong analytical problem-solving skills

Demonstrable knowledge of these concepts:

•             Software Design Principles and Patterns

•             Build Tools (Webpack, Rollup, Babel, TS, etc.)

•             CI/CD (tools, pipelines, patterns)

•             Automated Testing (unit, functional, contract, mocking, etc.)

•             Service Performance Tuning (instrumentation, monitoring, tracing)

Bonus experience: MQ, Kafka, MQTT, terraform, Azure, TypeScript

Key Responsibilities:

•             Build/maintain/manage the arrivals core service

•             Work within a scrum/agile framework to help set priorities and estimate work

•             Provide support on an on-call rotation

•             Expand the core to support new use cases

•             Work to adhere to service SLAs

•             Stay up to date on emerging technologies
