This position requires a high degree of expertise in the Front end  development using Progressive web frame works , Advanced JS , CSS frameworks  with the ability to help set standards, establish guidelines and best practices as well as provide technical consultation and development leadership to new and ongoing Web Development.

The ideal candidate must have experience developing front  web application using HTML 5, CSS3, LESS, SASS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery. Designing reusable components, expertise in JS and Progressive web frameworks.

Has working knowledge on latest standards like: ES6, Webpack, NodeJS, Atomic Scalable CSS (BEM)

Experience on Integrating with REST based services and provide design patterns.

Has working knowledge on web performance and web performance tooling and has experience with relevant metrics to measure performance.

Has working knowledge on web security and standards like: OWASP

Has working knowledge on accessibility and accessibility guidelines, like: WCAG

Has working knowledge on SEO and SEO guidelines and implementation of SEO best practices

Has working knowledge on code quality and testing tools and frameworks: Jest, Linting, JS Unit Testing.

Expertise in writing JS Unit Test cases and automation.

Expertise in Build and Deployment using CI?CD frameworks.

Working with diverse business partners and the ability to juggle concurrent development efforts.

As a senior Front end developer, will have a key role in designing, building, testing, deploying and contributing to  standards for Kaiser Permanente's AEM applications that could revolutionize the health care space. 


Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 8+ years experience in development including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and estimates and translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for complex IT front end solutions.
• 5+ years of Strong experience with front end development and architecture/Design understanding
• Strong knowledge of Front end web application design , experience in Adv JS, CSS Based frameworks, Node & NPM, REST based services.
• Experience with Webpack, Grunt, Gulp or equivalent and creating custom tasks
• Experience in Front End automation , JS Unit testing using Mocha Chai, Jasmine, Karma.
• Experience in working with Jenkins and other Devops tools for Automated Build and Deployment.
• Working in Agile Teams and Scrum Model.
• Experience with git and GitHub to manage and share source code

Preferred Qualifications:

• Has experience with JS Frameworks like Vue, Angular, React (at least one)
• Experience integrating 3rd party source code and/or libraries
• Experience consuming and developing XML and JSON web services
• Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skill
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
• Manage risk and change with an agile approach
• Adopt at learning new technologies quickly
