Title: AWS DBA Support

Location: Miami FL

Duration: Contract

Below is the JD:

1) Strong knowledge of the Oracle database platform and hands-on experience with versions 12 and above

2) Hands on experience on AWS RDS, AWS Redshift, AWS Cloud Formation, Cloud watch, Performance Insights

3) Strong knowledge and experience on setting up and managing PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL

4) Experience in Migration of Oracle environments from on premise to AWS EC2, knowledge on amazon DMS

5) Experience in Migration of oracle environments to PostgreSQL in AWS

6) Strong analytical and documentation skills necessary to standardize and document RDS standards for the organization

7) Strong knowledge of SQL, relational database tuning and overall performance management

8) All DBA related standard operational activities around backup and patch management

9) Excellent communications skills and very comfortable with defining and adhering to strong process management activities

10) Additional responsibilities will include being the key interface to all application areas, adherence to compliance/security standards along with the required reporting requirements.

11) Facilitate all data design components, providing database tuning, monitoring database security, system performance and overall utilization.

12) Work with the product vendor’s & Internal technical team on Test Activity  ( i.e. - Performance testing, System Integration Testing, Data Conversion Testing etc.).

13) Support any automated testing activities related to Functional testing from the test team

14) NERC/CIP clearance for Nuclear support is must.

15) Needs to be involved in DB architecture level meetings
