Title: Sr. ETL Data Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 months
Job description:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate database skills (SQL and Oracle DB) to perform basic querying of data and ability to translate code into business logic
- Intermediate experience in one or more of the following ETL Applications to look at code and understand data – Informatica, AbInitio or SAP Data Services
- Exposure in one or more of the following – Microstrategy, Tableau, Cognos, SAP Business Objects or SAP HANA
- Strong acumen around financial terms and financial analysis – clear understanding of data on annual reports and earnings statements
- Ability to complete analysis of complex financial and regulatory data to determine inconsistencies or problems with data under limited supervision
- Ability to document client meetings details in to BI requirements and identify illegitimate requirements and provide reasons for the same.
- Ability to develop test documentation (e.g. test plans, test cases and test scripts) and execute test scripts
- Exposure to Kimball dimensional data modeling and data warehousing methodologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with a wide range of audiences and maintain interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work within time constraints and manage multiple tasks against critical deadlines.
- Ability to perform basic problem solving and apply critical thinking, deductive reason and inductive reasoning to identify solutions.
- Exposure to IBCS
- Exposure to BABOK
