Job Title : SAS & Informatica

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration : 12+months

Job Description :

Roles/Responsibilities (5 – 8 day to day candidate’s responsibilities)

1. Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems configurations and operating methods as well as understanding evolving business needs.
2. Understanding the Report templates required by individual State DOH reporting guide specifications
3. Seeking clarifications whenever its required from all the report stakeholders Providing necessary data mapping documents and helping Business Systems Analysts to refine the end user requirements
4. Create the Design Documents, Data Mapping documents and Unit test cases for all the requirements finalized by Business and other State stakeholders.
5. Follow processes created by Cognizant's project manager to validate end-to-end scenarios and business requirements and setting up the unit test data to meet all the specifications of the report guide.
6. Perform SAS Coding to automate the State Regulatory Reports based on established best practice methods of Cognizant (CDB) Analytics Team’s SDLC methodologies.
7. Perform the Development and Unit testing using Cognizant accelerators, which ensure the data flow between data source and targets files in an efficient manner.
8. Code maintenance in Version Control systems in regular intervals.
9. Finalize the necessary deployment artifacts such as Design Documents, Unit Test Case document, Scheduler jobs setup document, Manifest and Labelling them appropriately for QA and UAT activities
10. Coordinate with QA ad UAT point of contacts until respective activities completed up to their satisfaction and taking forward the finalized code related documents into production deployment phase
11. Provide the post-production support until the reports stabilized and accepted by State DOH

Required Qualifications (5 – 8 bullet points on must have skills)

1. 5+ years of experience in Advanced SAS and Informatica
2. Experience in Healthcare data Reporting such as excel, pdf and csv etc. Base SAS, Unix, Shell Scripting
3. Experienced in VB Scripting and Windows Batch files
4. Must be SAS Base Certified and Advanced certification is preferred
5. Strong SQL skills in oracle and Microsoft SQL, Teradata or AWS experience is a plus
6. Strong data analysis skills
7. Excellent communication skills , Very good written skills required and must be able to effectively communicate verbally with technical and business resources
8. Must come from a team environment (ideally from cross-functional)
