Position:- Sr Network  engineer

Location:- Honolulu, HI or Phoenix, AZ; Onsite role from day 1; No remote.

Duration:-Long contract

Responsibility:-

10+ experience needed

3 years’ work experience in network engineering or Information Technology

 •         Hands on, production work experience supporting one or more standard network technologies: o            Route/Switch o           Enterprise wireless o  Firewalls (L3/L7) o       Load Balancers o         VPN

•          Experience documenting network designs

•          Experience patching, securing & maintaining networks and networking devices.

•          Desire to keep up to date on the latest automation, testing and monitoring technologies and bring them to full production readiness for our stack.

•          Ability to create knowledge documents for use in training operations personnel

•          Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities – able to analyze and resolve technical problems of medium complexity

o          Proficiency in scripting or network automation

o          Hands on experience with cloud networking and cloud security

o          Experience with microwave or satellite communications o  Experience with Ground to Air radio communications

o          Experience building communication systems as part of facilities designs: e.g. structured cabling
