Position: SQL ETL Developer

Job Description:
SUMMARY
We’re looking for candidates who have advanced SQL skills that have delivered DataMart solutions, and worked with business customers to help validation/define business requirements to support ETL development.
- Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs, communicate options for effective solutions, understand audiences and security requirements
- Implementing reporting solutions including back end table design, navigating source data governance
- Designing ETL solutions
- Create proof of concepts and prototypes. Building and deploying new ETL solutions.
- Implement efficient defect management, root cause analysis, and resolution processes.
- Working with architects to identify system sources of record for data elements.
- Breakdown business features into technical stories and approaches.
- Assist in setting technical direction for the team.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
- Advanced SQL skills developing DataMart solutions.
- Data warehousing knowledge as a whole, with high focus in SQL.
- Minimum 4 years of data management experience implementing data solutions
- Expert in ELT processing and transformation
- We are leveraging tools such as but the tool skillset knowledge is more helpful and not specifically required as long as they’re strong in the above
Preferred:
- Very helpful to have some experience with Informatica, Snowflake, and Netezza,
- Experienced with Agile SAFe
- past experience with converting legacy systems: DataStage, DB2,
- Experience with analyzing marketing data from Salesforce or other CRMs
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study, OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required.
