Sandoz Commercial DW and Reporting Solution project was to build a Commercial Data Warehouse and Reporting interface for Biopharmaceutical and PharmaDerm units of Sandoz Inc. project integrated data coming from IMS, Internal sources and CRM source systems for reporting needs. Medical sales representatives of Biopharmaceutical and PharmaDerm units’ inputs Calls, Samples, Time of Territory and other work information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which will be pulled into data warehouse for reporting needs – specifically for tracking and decision making. SQL Server Integration services used as Extract Transformation& Loading (ETL) tool. QlikView used to create dashboards for users. This project generated 1+ million in revenue.

As a part of Metrixx Report Enhancement Project various key performance indicators are identified to be displayed Dashboards to graphically summarize CRA time tracking metrics for planning and resource management. This project used Java and Fusion charts package.

It houses all the reports related to human resources, employees, vendors, financial stack, etc., The project involved creating the Cognos portal as a publishing engine which would allow reports to be published/exported for on-demand analysis. The portal was based on Cognos portlet with customization.

Role:

  • Involved in requirement analysis, functional specification & technical design documentation.
  • Developed and reviewed Cognos reports and involved in Cognos portaldevelopment.
  • Dealt with migration of Cognos Reports from Cognos 8.1 to 8.2 and subsequently tested all the migrated reports.
