Title: DBA - Microsoft SQL Server
Location: Camphill, PA
Expected Duration: 10+ Months

Note: Account is looking for candidates with more DBA - Microsoft Sequel Server with emphasis on the developer side rather than straight DBA. Please review candidates that were submitted and withdraw if they do not fit this requirement
Job Description:
This role is split between SQL development and application Database administration; it requires strong skills in SQL development and trouble shooting in addition to Database performance and tuning.

Job Description/Expectations
• Support application enhancements and fixes
• Gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and develop database solutions
• When web application changes are requested, work with the web developers to design a cohesive solution between the web application and the database.
• Assist web developers with user interface, consistency and standards.
• Assist with application testing.
• Provide in-depth analysis of the data manipulation performed by the application.
• Provide queries for other team members to review data.
• Performs release management responsibilities for the team. Lead the team and customer to determine what changes will be included in the release, creates and maintains all release documentation, tracks the release progress through to implementation.
• Maintain documentation that documents the data flow through the system, including the data types and any transformations that occur.
• Maintain data dictionary
• Monitor ETL processes for data warehouse. Modify ETL processes as necessary and troubleshoot and solve any problems that may occur.
• Create and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
• Support and modify the ETL process for SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA) as necessary.
• Assist the application helpdesk and provide backup when asked.
