Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Omaha, NE

Duration: 6 months  NO H1B

 Duties & Responsibilities:

·      Programming and analysis support of Financial Services customer correspondence related applications.

·      Partner with application architects to identify business need and appropriate technical solutions.

·      Designing and documenting technical requirements for business applications.

·      Hands-on experience in CICS, Assembler, COBOL & DB2 .

·      Credit/Debit or Financial knowledge. Should be quick learner, Detail-oriented, Multitasked

·      Ability to work in a challenging environment. Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, methodologies as well as all functional areas in IT organization.

·      Partners with developers to help understand the system and provide reverse requirement understanding and help migrate to newer platform.

Qualifications:

·      8+ years of related IT experience.

·      Bachelor’s Degree at College of Science, Technology, Engineering

·      At least 8+ years of Cobol mainframe development experience (CICS, DB2, Cobol, JCL).

·      Extensive experience in Assembler.

·      Experience building services and invoking mainframe-based components

·      Java experience is a plus.
