Job Description:

 

The Oracle Database Administrator is a highly skilled technical position that involves intricate knowledge of the Oracle database internals on 11g, 12c and 19c versions. Typical responsibilities include:· Perform database software installations, configurations, patches, upgrades, backup/recovery and migrations.· Manage all aspects of the physical database including schema’s, DDL, users, security, etc. in development, UAT and production environments. · Identify and resolve problems occurring in all database environments including performance related issues (i.e. database & SQL tuning).· Support DBA utilities, reorgs, index builds, export/import and DBA tools (Oracle Enterprise Manager) · May require on call responsibilities.Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in the following areas: · Database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, upgrades and problem diagnosis and resolution.· Experience with Oracle RAC and RAC One Node· Experience with Oracle RMAN· Experience with Oracle Data Guard· Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager· Experience with Disaster Recovery implementation and testing Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with Oracle Golden Gate· Experience in Unix OSIts is a highly skilled technical position that involves intricate knowledge of Oracle databases. Will be responsible for all critical functions that the database administer performs including database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution.Will lead all aspects of the physical database including schemas, DDL (Data Definition Language), users, security, etc. in development, UAT and production environments.Great teammate player.
