Job title: Python developer/ Lead / Architect

Duration : Long term contract

Client : HCL

Location : Chalfont, PA 

o   10-15 years of strong Python programming experience using HTTP Frameworks

o   Understanding of microservices architecture and the bigger picture, in depth understanding of HTTP protocol

o   Experience in RESTful APIs, Python Tornado, Flask/Django frameworks, GIT.

o   Experience delivering code & projects using continuous integration (CI) pipeline

o   Prior development with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational database SQL (PostgreSQL)

o   Experience with caching technologies utilizing memcache, Redis, or other caching layer components

o   Assertive with effective communication skills, work independently in agile environment

o   Experience with UNIX development tools (make, shell scripting)

o   Exposure to Agile, XP, Kanban, DevOps, etc.

o   Support and grow Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies

Good to Have:

o   Understanding of opensource culture, contribution to open source

o   Expertise in Javascript, Python and related tool chains (pip, setup tools, virtualenv)

o   Good to have experience in Dockers, Kubernetes, Ansible 

o   Experience in deploying to AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure services
