Description:

The DB2 DBA will:

•              Define DB2 sizing guidelines and benchmarking configurations for client's managed services offering types: small, medium, and large.

•              Build DB2 machine image for Managed Services offering types, i.e. Small, Medium, and Large.

•              Document machine image build process for future reference.

•              DB2 Installations in Linux Environment

•              DB2 Best practices

•              DB2 Tunable parameters for performance and stability

•              DB2 cloud deployment and automation experience

•              Replication of DB from Production to DR

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

•              12+ years of experience in consulting for DB2 including hands-on and cloud deployment

•              Expertise in DB2 HADR strategy

•              Knowledge of Performance and SQL Turning

•              Knowledge of Linux/Unix

•              Knowledge of Shell & PERL Scripting
