Job Summary: Skills:

• Python - very important
• Regulatory experience AND/OR (equities / options) Regulatory experience can be supplemented for equities or options and vice versa (not Fixed Income experience)

• Front office experience (trading)– strongly preferred over back office experience (ie settlements) Allocation would be a key word though to look for if the person is back office
• OATS Bluesheets – keywords



Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and help deploy and support a scalable solution for report generation, attestation, artifact managing, and testing
• Work with Reporting Services and Reporting Platform and with the Business Controls and Trading Desks to develop support for a fully automated lifecycle for reports’ submission and response workflows
• Work with report developers on maintaining the consistency of development standards
• Assume responsibility for delivering reporting logic for Hong Kong SF Data Standard Order Lifecycle
• Build automated alerts and reporting to validate the effectiveness of the Firm’s trading controls. This includes utilization based reports for Risk Limits, monitoring reports for strategy behavior with respect to trading controls and validating core regulatory controls are met.
• Work with Trading and Front Office Technology to assess the impact of business changes on existing reporting functionality.
• Work with the Quality Assurance team on integrating the report development into the state-of-the-art QA framework at Citadel Securities
Qualifications
• Financial Services experience, with regulatory reporting experience highly preferred (e.g., OATS, CAT, MiFID II, Hong Kong Transaction Reporting, Supervisory or Surveillance Reports)
• Experience designing, developing (coding), testing, deploying, documenting, and validating supervisory, and exception reports overseeing areas like trading activity (examples: best execution, order marking, wash trade, naked short selling, information barriers, transaction cost analysis, potential market abuse)
• Experience with trading workflows (order-execution-settlement lifecycle, order types), trading technologies (market data feeds, market access and connectivity), market structure (exchanges, dark pools), and products (equities, options, futures, swaps, treasuries)
• Experience with automated trading environments a plus
• A minimum of 4-6 years engineering experience related to large-scale reporting development
• Experience in using relational, non-relational, and streaming data for reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, or other related field), Master’s degree or similar graduate studies in these areas is a plus
• Databases: SQL Server, Snowflake
• Languages: SQL and Python is required and C++ is a plus
• Data streaming/queueing frameworks: Kafka
• Containerization: Kubernetes
• Strong communication and presentation skills, project management, and relationship-building skills to manage internal stakeholder relationships
• Maintains high level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
