• 10+ years practical operational support experience
• 5+ years Oracle Exadata experience
• 5+ years working on large (10+ terabyte) databases with multi node RAC
• 5+ years AIX experience on Power 8 HA
• 5+ years working experience Solaris
• 5+ years disaster recovery experience including Sterling Forest
• 2+ years’ experience in administering databases in Azure cloud and tuning portal
• 2+ years in physical/logical data replication and data sharing strategies
• Expert in database backup and recovery strategies
• Expert in SQL performance analysis and tuning
• Expert in measuring and monitoring key database metrics
• Expert in building and maintaining high availability architectures
• Experience with Oracle Performance Monitoring (OEM) & Tuning including Exadata specific performance features
• Experience is tuning mixed workload in singular or HA database environments Leadership Qualities
• Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts including interactions with Senior Leadership
• Provides detailed task plans to implement complex projects.
