Role : AWS Python Developer

Location: CollegeVille,PA

Duration: Fulltime

Required Technical Skill Set         Laravel,Javascript, ES6, NodeJS, Python, AWS Lambda, Node, Stencil, SASS/CSS, HTML, My SQL, Mongo DB

*SME – Subject matter expert – Technical expert who will be able to explain exact nature of requirement to the recruitment team. Preferably they should be the Technical panelist.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have        

•             Experience in design, development and delivery of solutions on AWS technology stack

•             Experience with Python libraries such as Flask, SQL

•             Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda and Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation

•             Experience in building reusable web components with Stencil

•             Experience with developing efficient and high performant code

•             Experience with Agile and DevOps methodology

•             Experience on front-end technologies (like NodeJs, JavaScript and HTML5)

•             Strong Understanding of MVC Frameworks

•             Creative and efficient problem solver

•             Experience in web application security considerations

•             Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API desi

•             Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Good-to-Have  

•             Strong understanding of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)

•             Experience with developing unit tests to maximize code coverage and end to end business scenarios

•             In depth knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)

•             Exposure to GitHub, webpack and NPM

•             Hands-on experience on Mongo DB and MySQL

•             Exposure to Life Science domain clients

•             Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)

•             Understanding other architectures/frameworks/technologies

•             Good communication skills- written and verbal

•             Ability to work as part of a team, understanding problems from another team member's perspective, and, at times go beyond the job description to achieve a broader team goal.
