Job Description:

Initial Projects
• Map Fields from one source into the Tables created in SQL Server in Azure
o This is very important and we cannot have mistakes in order to make our conversion go smooth
• Gather production related fields required for reporting from the production environment
• Gather required fields from production tables to create “Datamarts”. This can be done in either SQL Databases in Azure or in a SQL Database on a remote server.
• Create procedures for downloading external sources and automate loading this data into the production and datamart tables
• Create Standardized Reports using Power BI, Store and send reports to responsible parties.
• SQL Database Administration; outside of patching.

It is important this person has experience with SQL Server Databases. I don’t care if it is in or out of the cloud environment. I would like someone who has experience designing and creating tables. Ideally, this person would have experience transferring data from one source to another. This person should communicate well because they will be working with multiple parties in gathering requirements. I’d prefer someone whose worked with a reporting tool but it doesn’t have to be Power BI as the general concepts are similar. They can learn Power BI. This person should be familiar with the types of maintenance and optimization for SQL Server. These can be learned on the job. Lastly, we would like someone Junior who has the aptitude and the desire to grow with position.
