• 8 yearsof professional software development experience

• 5 yearsof experience working in Python

• Good exposurein Microservices architecture

• Workingknowledge of cloud technologies

•Understanding of the threading limitations of Python and multi processarchitecture

• Hands onKafka experience in streaming data

•Experience with at least one web framework

• Performanceoptimization and problem diagnosis

•Developing a highly concurrent and distributed system

• Knowledgeof version control and build tools such as Git, Github, IntelliJ and Jirapreferred

•Designing/Developing for high availability

• Designing/Developingand testing new features

•Supporting release and documentation of developed features

• Helpdefine coding standards and development processes

• Willingto learn & adapt different technologies

• Drive asmaller team & can work as an Individual Contributor too

•Estimating the effort required to develop and implement

•Coordinate with the database team to implement and maintain ingest of dataensuring integration with data warehouse structure

• Analyzebusiness operations requirements for data, evaluate existing data quality, andrecommend improvement opportunities

• Analyzeoutput products to assure data quality and conformance to requirements

•Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase available dataquality and speed of delivery

•Participate on an Agile development team, using Scrum techniques, as acontributing development team member

• RequiredEducation/Experience

•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technicaldiscipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, orwork experience

• 8 yearsof experience developing, supporting, or implementing application software

• 8 yearsof experience in development using object-oriented methodologies

• 5 yearsof experience developing with Python

• 4 yearsof experience working with databases SQL and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra,

MemcacheDB)

• 3 yearsof experience developing with Python using Cython, Numba

• 3 yearsof experience developing with Python ML stack numpy, pandas, scikit-learn,keras,

tensorflow,pyspark

• 3 yearsof experience in Python parallelization/multiprocessing (e.g. Dask) andvectorization

• 3 yearsof experience with web application frameworks, servers and proxies (e.g.Flask/Django,

…)

• Strongverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectivelyacross internal

andexternal organizations.

• MS Excel(e.g., vlookup, VBA, pivot tables)
