Key tasks:

• Be on a PagerDuty rotation to respond to Wawa availability incidents and provide support for service engineers with customer incidents.
• Use your on-call shift to prevent incidents from ever happening.
• Run our infrastructure with CodeFresh, Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Make monitoring and alerting alert on symptoms and not on outages.
• Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions–and then into automation.
• Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.
• Responsible for Cloud Operations, Infra structure as Code and essential platform aspects of underlying Cloud.
• Responsible for Canary Deployments during release cycles
• Leverage CodeFresh Deployment pipelines to promote app code using the best practise standards defined by Platform engineering
• Instrument additional monitoring enhancements using AWS resources available
• Support Feature Teams with access to application logs, visibility into
• Responsible for overall Non functional requirements of the application/ platform and underlying technologies
• Platform bug fixes and minor enhancements
• Responsible for Cost Management, Utilization, Telemetry.
• Skills:
  • J2EE development background (2+ years)
  • AWS Certified+++, AWS ECS / EKS
  • IAC - Pulumi, Cloud Formation, Terraform
  • Security - IADM, OIDC, Ping Federate, Auth0
  • Data – PostgreSQL, MongoDB
