Job Description:
We are in search of experienced IT Project Manager with at least 7+ years of IT experience and healthcare payer experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience is required
- Experience working in project management software is required
- Familiarity of the healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare
- Extensive understanding of project management processes, techniques and tools and project lifecycle
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work and team assignments to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations
- Ability to lead stakeholders in business case development
- Ability to effectively and efficiently lead a project team
- Excellent planning, negotiating and influencing skillset
- Flexibility during organizational and/or business changes
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent critical listening and thinking skills
- Excellent decision making/problem solving skills
- Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of management within the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrate sense of urgency
- Time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
