Summary:
MUST HAVE technical Skillsets – Java/J2EE or DotNet, SQLServer, DB2 DB, Oracle DB, Linux, Windows, API, REST Services, Enterprise Message Service, Integrations, DevOps (Jenkins), Cloud (AWS or Azure)
The Solutions Engineer will review and acquire an in-depth understanding of the current application landscape and enterprise architecture, the issues, opportunities and value to the business.
The Solutions Engineer will develop the future state Enterprise Architecture framework and Application Framework, based on the business needs of the various lines of business as well as industry best practices and other considerations. This will include documentation of principles, policies and standards and governance process.
The architect will support the various application teams in identifying the migration path from current state to the future state architecture. The Solutions Engineer will explain the reference architecture / model to various Business and IT Stakeholders to get buy-in as well as to enable the adherence to the established standards and support during the migration to the reference model.
The Solutions Engineer will inform, advise and work with IT teams as well as Business units on architecture, perform buy vs build analysis, evaluate new tools/ applications.
The Solutions Engineer will evaluate applications and technology and architecture of systems from companies acquired by Ingram Micro and provide inputs to integration approach.
