Job Description :-
The Cloud Infrastructure QA Engineer will have the responsibility to:
- Validate, test, and document test results for all cloud infrastructure services
- Manage (allocate, assign, and provision) virtual and bare metal machines and corresponding networks for quality and performance testing of the cloud infrastructure services
- Provide status and metrics of current activities to the QA Lead for tracking and reporting project information.
- Help define, implement and assure the overall quality test methodology, test strategy and release criteria of all services
Qualifications:
Beyond specific skill sets and experience listed below, the position requires a basic understanding of system and network engineering and administration and server virtualization. At a minimum, candidates must have the experience and requirements listed below:
- Manual Testing and Automated Testing (3 to 5 years of experience)
- Strong working knowledge on Infrastructure Validation Testing.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate with engineering and management.
- Strong knowledge of test automation programs preferred
- Good on Communication, leadership, authoritative presence and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand the various Cloud Computing services like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc...
- Develop and document comprehensive test plans for large, strategic and complex Cloud/infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and collaborate with different teams (such as Development, Networking, Storage, Security, Fabric and Business Services) across the multiple projects
- Good written and oral communication skills.
BS (MS preferred) in CS, EE or Equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, Infrastructure QA or similar QA role.
2+ years of experience with QA concepts and methodology.
2+ years of experience writing test plans, test strategies, test automation, and test cases.
2+ years of experience with Python, PyCharm, Putty, GitHub and Gitbash.
2+ years of experience with trouble shooting/Debugging experience.
- Experience in API Testing with Postman and experience with PyCharm, Putty, GitHub, Gitbash.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
